Jason Aaron Jason Aaron, a Kansas City area creator, is the writer of Scalped for DC Comics, and Ghost Rider, Black Panther, Wolverine: Weapon X for Marvel Comics. Jason was named Wizard Magazine's 2008 Writer of the Year.
Rick
Burchett
Rick has worked on many titles during his years in the industry. An Eisner award-winning artist, he is now best known for his work on the various titles based on the animated adventures of Batman, including Batman Adventures, Batman & Robin Adventures, Batman: Gotham Adventures and Batman Beyond. He has also worked on Pulp Fantastic and the Batman/Huntress miniseries. Some of his most recent work was on the crime-noir book Gravedigger: the Scavengers.
Anna Maria Cool Artist Anna Maria Cool has worked on such titles as Elvira, Barbie and Barbie Fashion, as well as illustrating a series of Oz books. She is currently working on a Katy Keene series for Archie Comics and will have a new hard-cover children's book at the show.

Friedrich
Gary is one of the more prolific writers in comics, known best for his creation of the modern Ghost Rider and his work on Sgt. Fury and the Howling Commandos. Rudy is a Kansas City area resident and has sculpted for Diamond Direct  and McFarlane Toys, among others. He is also the artist and co-creator of the Evolution Cop, which is written by guest Ed Lavallee.

Haun
Jeremy is one of the creators of Paradigm and  has worked with B. Clay Moore on Battle Hymn for Image Comics and The Leading Man for Oni.  His work also includes Civil War: Iron Man/Captain America and New Excalibur for Marvel. He is currently working on Batman: Battle for the Cowl for DC Comics
Phil
Hester
Phil has worked on many titles, including Clerks: The Lost Years and Coffin.  He was the penciler (working with Ande Parks as inker) on Uncle Slam, Firedog and the Irredeemable Ant-Man, as well as a long run DC's popular Green Arrow.  Phil is currently penciling El Diablo, written by Jai Nitz with inks by Ande Parks.

Martin
Artist Cynthia Martin's work includes numerous issues of the original series of Star Wars comics, both covers and interiors, including the scarce and classic last issue, #107.
B. Clay Moore
B. Clay Moore is the co-creator of (among other things) the acclaimed Hawaiian Dick (currently in development with New Line Cinema) and Battle Hymn for Image Comics, as well as the Leading Man (currently in development with Universal) for Oni Press.

Jeffrey Moy worked for DC Comic as a penciller for 5 years on Legionnaires and has done work for Wildstorm on Gen 13 and Star Trek Voyager. He currently is a senior concept artist at Raven Software, having worked on Star Wars: Jedi Outcast, X-Men Legends 1 and 2, and most recently Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Moy
Phil is best known for his long run penciling Powerpuff Girls. He has also inked Legionairres and Gen 13 and has worked on Samurai Jack, Puffy Amiyumi and the new Blue Beetle series.

Nitz
Kansas City writer Jai Nitz won the Stoker Award for Heaven's Devils from Image comics, and the Xeric grant for his self-published anthology, Paper Museum.  He has worked on Batman Strikes and Legion of Superheroes in the 31st Century both from DC comics, and Marvel Comics Presents from Marvel comics.  He also wrote El Diablo, which features art by Phil Hester and Ande Parks.  Visit him on the web at

Mr. Parks is the writer of Capote in Kansas and has inked many books, including Clerks: The Lost Years, Green Arrow and the Irredeemable Ant-Man.  He is currently working on El Diablo, written by Jai Nitz with art by Phil Hester and Ande Parks.
