Renowned painter and illustrator Mark Texeira
is knoiwn the world over his his illustrative
interiors and fine art painting. Think of "Ghost
Rider," "Moonknight," "Black Panther," .... and
one things of Mark's fantastic work.
An alumni of the famous Art & Design High School
in Manhattan, which boasts graduates such as Tony
Bennett, Harvey Firestein, Steve Asell, Eric
Valazquez, Neal Adams and Willie Low, among many
others, Mark later studied under the guidance of
painters Max Ginsburg, Irwin Greenberg, aand
portrait painter David Leffel--the later at the
Art Students League.
It wasn't long before Mark won mentions at the
Salmagundi Club and Society of Illustrators for
his oil paintings, which sparked interest and work
in the form of cover assignments for books,
magazines and record albums involving such
properties as Remo Williams, Buckaroo Banzai and
Public Enemy.
Some of his continuing clients include: New York
Magazine; Scholastic Books; MCI Records; Def Jam
Records; Marvel Entertainment; D.C. Publications;
Harris Publications; Wizards Of The Coast; Wizard
Magazine; Image Publications; Black Bull

"Wolverine Special" for Marvel Comics as well as
fantastic painted interiors for Wizards of the
Coast! In addition Mark is the subject of two
upcoming projects, a DVD tutorial from Woodcrest
Produciotns and Eva Ink entitled "Creator
Chronicles: Joe Jusko," and a full retrospective
of Mark's career will be on the stands soon from
Vanguard Productions entitled: "Tex--The Art of
